Additionally, silicone is resistant to ultraviolet light, ozone, seawater, and weathering. Silicone has great resistance to heat (dry air), operating intermittently at +200°C and staying flexible at -70°C. Furthermore, silicone has minimal flammability and smoke toxicity.
